One of the keys to learning to make good decisions in poker is having the ability to separate the money from the decision. I think that the easiest way to learn this skill is by working your way up in limits, starting at the very bottom. So, be careful not to move up too quickly.

For now you should worry only about making solid poker decisions and starting to develop a solid win rate (not in $/hr but in BB/100, we’ll get into this in the next chapter if you aren’t sure what I’m talking about).
