Hey there, this is Eric Knox, hereby known as HardKnox. I've been playing No Limit Holdem semi-professionally for a bit under two years now. I'm a heads up specialist but enjoy playing poker in any format.

A couple of months ago I decided that I wanted to start a poker training site. However, I wasn't looking to duplicate some of the other training sites that charge a monthly fee and cater to the intermediate and advanced player.

My model was a bit different… I wanted to create a completely free site designed solely for helping beginners start beating the low stakes games. If your ambitions are set much higher and you want to compete in the high stakes games someday, this is also the place to start. Once you have the basics down you can move on to a paid subscription service or get some one-on-one coaching and start moving up in limits.

This site is, admittedly, a work in progress. Please let me know if you have any problems or if you notice any issues with the site that need my attention.

I will not include any products that I have not personally used, because any ads on this site are actually my recommendations, not just random ads.
